We prefer surf, but shutting down the office last weekend to head to Mammoth was a g r e a t call. California hasn't seen that much snow in a long time and we'd be kicking ourselves if we had missed it! When we got back, there were two #GBmemorymakers cameras waiting for us at the door- one from @strattton and one from @sabrinahunt. We developed them and were so pumped because their rolls of film had us reliving our weekend in the mountains all over again.
"Having recently traded in the waves for the mountains in arguably the best winter California has seen in years, my best friend and I charged lines somewhere in between the first flakes of pow and the recorded 41 feet to date. Lake Tahoe is certainly experiencing no shortage of stoke! And there are still more feet to fall, more lines to carve, and more memories to make. There's no other camera I'd rather pull out of my jacket to capture my friends earn their turns, and there's no other weight I'd want to feel secured around my neck besides the St. Chris while I barrel down the hill." - Sabrina Hunt @sabrinahunt
"This roll of film is made up of a series of four mini adventures that, all lined up, totalled to be an awesome weekend outdoors. My friends and I skated aimlessly around St. George, Utah until we eventually found a pool, convinced our way inside, and spent the evening swimming (yes- skateboards too.) In the other shots I took my sister on a spontaneous drive/catch the sunset mission. 10 minutes later we ended up in a National Park, skating as the sun went down. All of these adventures happened by accident- nothing was planned. I think that's how life should be lived- on a whim! It’s how the best memories are made. That being said, whether you go to the mountains or to the sea- don't be so spontaneous that you forget to bring your gb memory maker because this was easily one of the most fun shoots I've had."
